European Languages Day

Thanks to all staff and pupils who participated in Oldmachar Academy’s European Day of Languages Celebrations 2017.  As well as fun cultural learning opportunities during Tutor Time and class lessons, our whole school event this year was a Culture Brunch in the Common Room at lunchtime on 26 September.  Some of our talented staff and pupils gave up their time to offer mini language lessons to interested pupils and staff; we shared an international food buffet.

S2 pupils completed Research Presentations on The Importance of Languages and S3 pupils completed Research Presentations on The Importance of Languages for Work.  A selection of these lovely projects have been shared on school media.

We are already planning for next year!
