Geography Field Trip to Stonehaven

Higher and National 5 pupils were at Stonehaven on 11th October collecting data for their assignments. They were determining if longshore drift is occurring in Stonehaven Bay by measuring slope gradients, stone sizes and shapes, as well as determining the stone orientations. The weather held up all day and some brilliant results and observations were made. Well done everyone!
