Scottish Youth Parliament

The Scottish Youth Parliament is the democratically elected voice of Scotland’s young people. The Scottish Youth Parliament’s vision is of a stronger, more inclusive Scotland that empowers young people by truly involving them in the decision making process. Young people aged 14-25 years can get involved in the Scottish Youth Parliament by voting in elections, speaking to their local Member of the Scottish Youth Parliament about issues affecting them and standing for election.

There is currently an opportunity for young people across Scotland to stand for election in their local area and represent young people’s views at a national level. To register your interest all you have to do is click the link and fill out the registration form. This will then be past to your local support worker Kirsty Wylie who shall get in contact with you to help answer any questions and support you to write a manifesto for your campaign. If you wish to find out more prior to registering feel free to message Kirsty on her work Facebook site: Kirsty Wylie Development Officer.
