S4-6 English and Maths Practice Exams 2017
On Monday, 20th and Tuesday, 21st of November, there will be practice exams for pupils in S4, S5 and S6
- The practice exams are for English and Maths
- The practice exams give pupils a chance to experience being in an exam hall, completing work under time pressure
- They are an important part of getting ready for the SQA exams in May 2018
- S4, S5 and S6 pupils will have 2 days of study leave: they are not expected to be in school if they do not have an exam
- Normal classes for S4, S5 and S6 resume on Wed 22nd Nov
Pupils are reminded:
- Arrive on time for the exam
- Make sure you know when and where exam will be – check with your English or Maths teacher
- You must be in school uniform
- Have a pen and any equipment you need (calculator, ruler)
- Follow the instructions of the invigilator
- Do NOT have a mobile phone in the exam room
- Try your best
- Use the long weekend to do some revision
- City Campus and college courses (e.g. Psychology) run as normal
