Leadership Programme

Steve Frew, Scotland's first Commonwealth Gold medalist gymnast, visited the Senior and Junior leaders as part of a leadership programme designed to develop a range of skills and further involve pupils within the new registration system. Pupils participated and led a range of icebreaker and team building activities so that they could implement these in their own tutor classes. Steve was thoroughly impressed with the attitude shown by the pupils. Steve also worked alongside our National 5 and Higher pupils. In these sessions, Steve focused on mental and emotional factors and even performed a routine on the gymnastics equipment!
