National RMPS trip to Aberdeen’s Synagogue
On 16th March the National class visited the synagogue in Aberdeen where they were greeted by Debby Taylor who spoke to the class about the different Judaism beliefs and practices we had been covering in class. She also identified the difference between orthodox and reform Jews and spoke of her own personal beliefs. One of our pupils wore Tefillin which is bound to the head and heart. This reminds Jews that they must love and worship God with their head and their heart.
