Film-making Club

Animation advert (1)

Ever wanted to learn how to enhance your photos using Photoshop, embed a Voki in your blog, or generate a picture in words using Wordle? Want to show off your latest Prezi, Comic Life creation or stop-frame animation? Then the Film-making Club is for you. A joint project with the Art Department, we’re here in the library every Monday and Wednesday afternoon after school. Our main aim is to learn from each other and share our knowledge and skills. You’re more than welcome to pop along and be a part of what we’re doing. We look forward to seeing you there.

If this is something you think you would be interested in, please see Mrs Anderson in the library.

Worth checking out
Cool tools for schools and I want to are brilliant places to start. Both highlight some rather cool Web 2.0 applications and tools.

Photo Pin – helps you to find photos on Flickr under Creative Common licensing, allowing you to add the photos to blogs and websites, etc, for free.

Pinterest – allows you to share photos and manage theme-based collections on virtual pinboards.

Prezi – interesting alternative to PowerPoint for making presentations.

Voki – create your own talking avatar.

Wordle – fun way to create word pictures.
