Sports Leaders (S1-6)
Opportunity for all school pupils to have their say and make a difference in the sporting and physical activity that happens within Oldmachar Academy. Sports leaders is a fantastic opportunity to develop personally while having a great effect on your peers and the school. Sports Leaders will meet a few times in the year and will discuss extra-curricular plans and healthy living/behaviours. It is a good chance for you to share your thoughts, ideas and bring a fresh perspective to the table. You do not have to be sporty to be involved in the decision-making. We are looking for students to come prepared to be creative, open-minded, decisive and willing to work within a team to aligned goals.
Great chance to be a part of something bigger, make a difference and it gives another opportunity to enhance your CV!

Active Schools (S4-6)
This form is for senior students wishing to volunteer on an extra-curricular basis in the Oldmachar ASG. It is a great opportunity for you to develop personally and professionally by working on many skills, for example, leadership, confidence, team working and decision-making. Do something extra, stand out from the crowd and better yourself for seeking out employment or continuing on in higher education. Volunteering will consist of running a
weekly club where you will be responsible for group management, taking registers, communicating information back and coaching.
Volunteering is great for your CV to further highlight your skill sets and give you an edge over your peers.
